Omaha Yacht Heesen

OMAHA by Heesen Yachts (ex Project MAIA)

Heesen's OMAHA (aka YN 18350) is a 50m displacement motor yacht designed by Clifford Denn (exterior) and Reymond Langton (interior)

The exterior design is a nice mix of aggressive lines forward and smooth lines at the aft. Heesen says that the design is inspired by the lines of classic cars and features some details:

“The grilles on the main deck aft fashion plates, for example, are only one of the many design details that lend ‘contemporary’ appeal.”

OMAHA accommodates ten guests in five suites. A master suite is on the main deck forward, four guest cabins are located on the lower deck. There are three double cabins and one twin cabin. A crew of ten people sleeps in five cabins.

The three-deck motor yacht has 250 m² of deck space. The sun deck has spacious 68 m² and an overall length of 16 meters.

OMAHA features a beach club with a bar, sauna and a sound system at the aft. The tender storage is on the foredeck.

Two MTU engines of the 8V4000 M63 with 1,000 kW each power her up to 16 knots. The cruising speed of 12 knots allows an operating range of 3,800 nautical miles. The fuel consumption is 390 L per hour at 15 knots and moderate 95 L per hour at 10 knots.

Introduction as Project MAIA

83m Maximus Heesen

Maximus (83m) by Heesen and Clifford Denn

Clifford Denn and Heesen Yachts presented the 83m MAXIMUS

Maximus is an 83m motor yacht concept unveiled during the Monaco Yacht Show. The yacht’s bridge is placed forward under the passenger’s deck. The result is a private deck on top. Very good for the guests but how is the user experience for the bridge crew? However, the top deck features a pool and a lounge area forward along a covered area. The main has another pool with waterfall that falls into a big swimming pool.

“When compared with other boats of its size it has an enormous pool, huge external deck areas, and all with the same internal volumes as a normal 83m,” says Denn. “It’s large boat thinking that puts the Owner’s needs first.”

“Providing good wind protection for all aft decks and optimal hydrodynamic performance for which Heesen is renowned, this flexible platform, packed with Heesen signature details, can accommodate up to five guests, with the option to be configured as 2 x VIP and 1 x guest by opening linking doors, in addition to a stunning Owner’s suite.”

The masculine exterior design of Ann G comes from Clifford Denn. Reymond Langton is responsible for the Art Deco interior design. Heesen constructed her hull in steel and her superstructure in aluminum.

The owner’s suite is forward on the main deck. That area has a private office, a full beam bedroom with ensuite bathroom and his and hers dressing room.

Ann G has also a sky lounge on the bridge deck and a beach club with gym, multipurpose spaces, steam room, bar and a seating area.

The project management comments:

“Ann G’s owner is a client with strong vision and high expectations. We are very pleased with the result as Ann G is the quintessence of customization and superb attention to detail; she is a muscular yet sleek motor yacht that will make heads turn wherever she goes!”
