Letani Feadship Motor Yacht

Letani by Feadship

Feadship presents the 35m eye-catching Letani. It is the fourth launch of this design.

Letani was developed to cruise in shallow waters and exploring smaller marinas in the typical Dutch quality. The in-house designers of De Voogt Naval Architects created the exterior and made the calculation. The interior (currently no pictures) was designed by Sinot Exclusive Yacht Design and Christian Liaigre

Feadship wrote that

“the dining area has an informal French bistro ambiance, with a tapered table and long banquette.”

The two MTU diesel engines give her a top speed of 20 knots. At 12 knots she has a range of 3,200 nautical miles with a fuel capacity of 25,400 l.

The owner of Letani is one of the youngest Feadship owners to date and commented during the launch ceremony:

“I’ve been privileged to be on various different superyachts over the last ten years. Every time I see a Feadship come by I had two feelings: one, ‘that’s a very special yacht’ and two, ‘I want to get off my boat and step on the Feadship’. It is very exciting that I now get to board my very own Feadship for the first time. The only bad news about this launch is that we’ll miss our visits to the shipyard… We’ve felt part of the family from the keel laying ceremony onwards and building a Feadship has been a wonderful experience.”

Amels 180 sold

Dutch superyacht shipyard AMELS sold a new unit of their 180 feet LIMITED EDITIONS.

This Amels 180 was sold in February 2014 will be ready in May 2015.

“In just 16 months, these owners will be enjoying a very personal yacht, clearly tailored to their own strong appreciation of artistry and refined lifestyle. Across the industry, we see delivery time as increasingly pivotal in owners’ decision-making, and this new order brokered by Burgess confirms our leadership in this regard. Our trusted LIMITED EDITIONS platform eliminates technical risk and allows the owners to focus on customizing the ‘fun parts’. And they know their AMELS-built yacht will be delivered on time. We’re so confident that, even while they’re still reviewing design drawings, we’d encourage them to finalize their 2015 summer plans with this beautiful yacht.”

commented AMELS CEO Rob Luijendijk.

Amels 180

The owners commissioned interior designer Christian Liaigre from Paris for the Tim Heywood-designed superyacht. The LIMITED EDITIONS platform was chosen by the owners concerning yacht delivery in the half of the time than a full custom made yacht and the high-quality Dutch craftsmanship.

The owners’ suite will feature a folding balcony, while the main salon has port and starboard folding balconies, amplifying the inside-out feeling on board. Further features include a touch-and-go helideck and an extensive beach club to enhance connection with the ocean, including space for water toys, a steam room and swimming platform with integrated stairs.
