Small-sized superyacht Contest 55 CS, designed by judel/vrolijk from Germany and Wetzels Brown Partners.
During the boot 2020 in Düsseldorf, I visited the new Contest 55 CS. Alongside the typical elegant Contest Yachts lines, designed by judel/vrolijk, the yacht has an interior design by Wetzels Brown Partners. Talking about the interior, the inside area of the boat feels very roomy for a sailing yacht under 20 meters. Moreover, the designers and the yard chose bright and beautiful materials for a luxury and comfortable feeling.
The hull structure features carbon fiber elements to reduce the size of some components. This procedure is certified by Lloyd’s.
The price ranges between 1.4 and 1.7 Million euros, but I think this is worth it for a yacht that feels like a superyacht in a manageable size without additional crew.
