Heesen Yachts announced their latest launch: “SIBELLE” aka HY16750. She is a 50m motor yacht designed by Omega Architects with eye-catching plumb bow under 500GT.

Sibelle was designed for an experienced yacht owner who was closely involved in the conception. The plumb bow isn’t just a eye-catching feature. It is for best possible course-keeping – especially in high wave conditions – and to allow greater comfort on board.

The naval architect, Perry van Oossanen comments:

“the modest propeller tunnel design allows for 1.5 m diameter propellers. The hull is fitted with Quantum XT zero-speed fins, and bilge keels, offering a maximum reduction in roll angle at anchor. The design of the hull, the appendages and the propulsion arrangement have been focused on obtaining the best fuel efficiency possible, without sacrificing performance and comfort when running in waves.”

In addidtion to Frank Laupman of Omega Architects were also Mikhail Labazov and Andrei Savin of A-B Studio based in Moscow responsible for the interior design.

Sibelle accommodates 10 guests in 5 cabins including owner’s area. The guest cabins are located on the lower deck. There are two VIP cabins, one double and one twin cabin available. All guest cabins have ensuits. The owner’s suite is well-spaced with 61 m² and is forward located. She features two dressing rooms and two ensuites.

The yacht has an outdoor living space of 237 m². The tenders are stored on the foredeck. When the tenders are in the water and the bulwark is lowered down the foredeck is the place for parties. Often the space for tenders are at a stern garage. So here is now a beach club and wellness area including sauna. It’s directly accessible from the main saloon.

The delivery is scheduled for the end of February after her sea trials.
