Maxi Dolphin from Italy built the cruiser/racer NOMAD IV in 2013.

NOMAD IV was made for fast and comfortable cruising. She is light, powerful and stylish. The yard is very experienced in construction with high-tech materials. Maxi Dolphin constructed her in carbon. That gives her a weight of just 52 tons. The design comes from the French design studio Finot-Conq together with the in-house design team of Maxi Dolphin.

That is the concept that Finot-Conq applied to the new FC3 100 by Maxi Dolphin. A yacht whose hull design derives directly from the vast experience of the French designers in offshore and ocean racing boats, with very slight overhangs, a max beam (8,30 meters).

Maxi Dolphin fitted NOMAD IV with a lifting keel to reduce the draft from 5.90 m to 3.50 m with a ballast of 15 tons. Also here she shows her racing genes: She carries a water ballast of 9 tons, she has a large cockpit to work on regattas, double steering wheels, and a spacious deck.

At the aft deck is the tender garage which transom serves as a bathing platform.

Inside of NOMAD IV is a very minimalistic and clean interior with a large living area. The deckhouse with dining area and saloon have a 360° panoramic view. The area for guests and owner is at the bow. The crew including galley is at the aft. High-tech characteristics of the FC 100 include interior details such as carbon fiber shower seats and the owner’s bathtub.
