ASYA was launched in December 2014. Now after the sea trials, Heesen delivered her on 3rd March 2015 to her owners.

ASYA features an exterior design by Frank Laupman of Omega Architects and interior design by Bannenberg & Rowell.

Heesen describes the interior design as follows:

“distinctly Far Eastern, restful feel, inspired by the designs of Dieter Rams, Frank Lloyd-Wright and Tadao Ando.”

By the way, some Apple products are inspired by the designs of Dieter Rams.

ASYA by Heesen Yachts Interior

ASYA represents the restyled 47m-Class by Dutch yacht builder Heesen. It has now the rescue tender in an enclosed bay in front of the wheelhouse. Also, the crew accommodation meets now LY3 requirements.

The yacht is powered by two MTU8V 4000 M63 diesel engines. They give her a top speed of 15 knots and an operating range of 4,000 nautical miles at 12 knots.

Mark Cavendish, director Sales and Marketing says:

“Working to a proven design platform allows us to deliver an exceptional yacht in less than 24 months with industry leading quality and performance specifications. This provides our customers with the confidence to purchase a vessel whose performance has been tested and constantly improved.”
