The Italian superyacht brand Columbus Yachts (part of Palumbo Group) started the construction of the 32m “Liberty” designed by Marco Casali – Too Design.

There is very much freedom in developing of each unit and to enjoy the yacht. Long journeys at 12 knots with low emission and diesel consumption or fast stages at 20 knots with a award winning hybrid propulsion developed by Palumbo Group. This yacht concept has the freedom to design a custom layout, interior design and also exterior by the client.

The Liberty concept was developed for owners who love wide spaces and being close to the sea. Liberty provides a new way of deck volume. The upper deck was removed and has a large sun deck with area for sun bathing, dining (up to 14 people) and a fly bridge. The reduced height benefits also the stability of the yacht. But a raised pilot house version is also available.

The beach area with big bathing platform can host a dinette with American bar, a Spa or a Gym.

For example the deck saloon area is fully flat with full height windows and is offered in different layout with or without galley on it. The bow area is provided for hosting tenders (up to 6m) and toys with a front facing sofa but could be managed also as a free set up space for sunbeds, tables etc.

The interior design is following the Liberty name of the range. The space could host free furniture allowing each owner in expressing his own style.

For the lower deck the crew quarters could be with full galley or at bow with independent entrance. The guests cabins could be from 3 to 5 until 6 total ones with the Owner on main deck.

The Owner could be positioned in the aft part of the lower deck to emphasize the full beam area or in the main deck with the raised pilot house option with full front view.

The Liberty 32 is the first unit of range of trawler styled yachts in range from 25m up to 38m.
