The Jakobstad-based (Finland) yacht builder Baltic Yachts launched a Baltic 115 with naval architecture by judel/vrolijk and interior styling by Nauta Design.

The Baltic 115 was designed as a cruiser/racer in pre-preg carbonfibre with carbonfibre keel box for the lifting keel built by APM Keels from Italy.

Her rig was made by Southern Spars – one of the world leaders in carbon spars design. High speed hydraulics and a custom designed jib trimming system complete the rig system.

At this time I got no interior shots, but Baltic tells they used light oak veneers over the lightweight foam-cored panels.

The owner’s cabin is forward located. Also the guest cabins. The yacht has a full-beam saloon with bar area and TV saloon. A crew of five can sleep aboard.

At the stern is a fold-down bathing platform with shower and fridge.

The yacht will be handed over to her owner in October and will race at the next RORC Caribbean 600. Good luck! :)
