Vitters launched the 50m classic-styled ketch Meraki for an experienced sailor.

The new launched yacht comes with an interior design by Rhoades Young. and exterior design and naval architecture by Hoek Design. Vitters optimized the layout together with Hoek. Furthermore, Christopher B. Bouzaid who was involved in the hull shape development and Clay Oliver Yacht Design who oversaw the optimization of the underwater ship completed the design team.

MERAKI is a Alustar aluminum-hulled sailing yacht with a carbon-fiber rig. Aft is a separate cockpit for the owner and the guests. Another cockpit is amidships and crew cockpit forward at the mainmast. The guest cabins are in front of the owner’s cabin aft. Four double crew cabins are in the forward area of the yacht.

“This new project is a fine example of why Vitters continues to attract knowledgeable sailors looking for the best possible sailing yacht,” comments the yard project manager “The owner was seeking the finest Dutch quality and admired our previous work. The fact that Vitters has the experience and flexibility to deliver this beautiful yacht in time for the 2019 season was a further benefit and we look forward to exceeding the owner’s high expectations.”
