Baltic Yachts built the 35m classic-styled custom yacht PERSEVERANCE (Baltic 117) that follows a "keep it simple" design with innovative energy features.

Responsible for exterior design and engineering is Dykstra Naval Architects. At the same time, De Vos De Vries styled the interior.

Outside very classic, the yacht for an experienced yachtsman who plans to sail longer passages will be equipped with an intelligent energy system to reduce the emissions of the boat. The power consumption minimizes automatically when no one is in the cabins. Moreover, air conditioning waste is used to heat the water onboard.

The electric propulsion with a 287kw engine uses large lithium battery banks to cruise in silence. Batteries can be recharged during sail journeys b the free-wheeling propeller.

Perseverance‘s hull is painted in bronze metallic.

The tender’s place is on the deck or in the davits at the stern. The passerelle is stored on a cover in the guest’s sitting area.

Interior of Perseverance

The yacht has the owner’s suite in the forward area, three double cabins for guests, and a crew area for six people in the stern. DNV GL classified the design with a worldwide charter code to sail almost anywhere with guests.

The interior style is light with stained oak and dark bog oak trims.

During my visit on the yacht at the Monaco Yacht Show 2022, I was very impressed by the crew quarter. The interior of the crew area seems to be almost the same style as the central interior. The deckhouse at the stern is the mess and the navigation center with direct access to the helm station. It is the best crew area I have seen on sailing yachts. Moreover, the galley with professional hardware is the perfect size for sailing a boat in this category.
